PruJap Family Drabble

Haruki walked into the living room looking for his Father. "Daddy?".He looked around his holding his teddy bear closely. "Daddy where are y-Daddy!" he exclaimed as he was lifted by two strong hands.

"How's my awesome baby boy?" Gilbert asked kissing his cheek. Said little boy hugged his neck. "I was looking for you Daddy". Gilbert smiled at him "Well, I was helping Mommy in the bathroom" he explained.

"Helping Mommy with what?". Haruki asked curious. His father tapped his nose. "I was helping Mommy make her sore better. She got cut on her arm, so, the awesome me comes and puts medicine and a bandage on it".  The young boy looked at him "Oh" he said laying his head on Gilbert's chest. "I love you Daddy".  The Prussian smiled warmly, he then placed a hand on the back of his son's head, he began to stroke the back of his head. In response to this, Haruki closed his eyes and relaxed.

Gilbert sat in the recliner holding Haruki closely. He then saw his wife Sakura enter the room.

She smiled and awed seeing their son snuggle closely to Gilbert holding his teddy bear. He looked at her and smiled and took her hold of her hand and kissed the rings on her ring finger. Sakura blushed at the gesture. Then they heard light snoozing.

Gilbert looked and saw that Haruki had fallen asleep. "He's so cute when he's asleep Sakura" he commented. The Japanese woman smiled warmly. "Yes he is" she said stroking his cheek. The Prussian rose out of the recliner and with his wife's hand in one and carrying Haruki with his other, he head towards their son's room.

When they entered the room Gilbert kissed Haruki's forehead and placed him in the crib. Sakura smiled at him. "You're so gentle to him." she said her eyes sparkling. Gilbert blushed lightly at this. "Danke Sakura" he kissed her lips lightly."It's kinda late, so I guess we should head to bed". Sakura agreed.

Already in their bedroom, Gilbert was in the bed waiting for Sakura to get dressed. She got dressed in her baby pink night shirt with cherry blossoms printed on it. She crawled in and snuggled next to him. "I love you Gilbert" her brown eyes shining at him. Her husband blushed a little "I love you too my cherry blossom". He kissed her forehead "Guten nacht Sakura" he said falling asleep. Sakura smiled and kissed his cheek "Oyasuminasai". Both of them were then asleep as well as Haruki sleeping peacefully.
